A blind man with a torch

A blind man with a torch

Ere the clock bell strikes six
The ears sharp takes a fix
day light fade to darkness night
He switch on his torch light

lo his eyes darkened to see its light
Nor doth he know the color so bright
To the passer by he asks in the night
Hey dude doth tis torch shine with light

A smile gentle in his lip that night
his torch doth shine and bright
the passer by curiosity better than a cat
Pardon me thou art blind to have that

The smile in his lips burn in the light
The torch doth help in the night
for tis eyes cannot see any light
yet those that see cant see in the night

  3. Hi Pety,Very thoughtful poem..It\’s human nature…Ppl always think that another who helps selflessly is blind or mad…And this reminds me of a hindi comedy film.. don\’t remember the name.. ajay devgan is there.. they are college students and expelled for the bad behaviour.. goes to a house which a blind couple resides pretending as their grandson.. there\’s one seen which the house owner uses a torch in the night to give the impression that he can see 🙂 i remembered that too.. Thanks for sharing this wonderful poemCha
